A few helpful answers.
Is it free?
Yes, downloads and the editor are free for personal and educational projects. No account is required. Commercial use and resale as clipart are prohibited.
Can I create something from scratch?
Yes. Choose Create in the main navigation to open the Creative Studio. Start blank or choose an editable starter, then draw, add shapes and text, arrange layers, and export WebP or CMYK PDF. Save project keeps an editable copy. Starter templates follow the same personal and educational use license as the catalog.
Which format should I choose?
WebP is an RGB image format with transparency, useful for digital layouts. Standard PDFs contain compact CMYK vector artwork prepared using the documented print conversion profile. Vector artwork stays sharp as it is scaled.
Can I change just one part?
Yes. Open Edit Clipart and select a named layer. Change its color, move or rotate it, adjust the outline or hide it. Use undo if you want to step back. The export uses your current edited document.
Why can print colors look different?
Screens emit light, while paper reflects ink. CMYK conversion uses a print condition and may change colors outside the printable range. Ask your printer whether its workflow matches the stated profile; a PDF is not a guarantee of an exact physical color match.
Why are some subjects marked Planned?
The 110-topic plan is larger than the current pilot. Planned subjects are listed without links to empty pages. A public topic page is added when downloadable artwork exists; indexing requires a separate quality review. We do not count recolors or rotations as new illustrations.
What is saved?
Favorites and editor recovery data stay in your browser. Use Save project to keep an editable project file, and download WebP or PDF for a finished image.
